Some great contents are missed because people have not subscribed to the right sources. Facebook plans to bring you a chance to go through every important app with Paper, an individual iOS news reader app. A few days ago, the social media giant revealed this app, which is aimed at delivering human and algorithm-curated photos and articles in different categories, such as Tech, LOL, and Pop Culture. Facebook is going to celebrate its 10th birthday on February 4th, and the Paper is scheduled to be launched a day before on February 3rd.

Paper is the first app coming out of Facebook Creative Labs, an initiative to allow Facebook’s small teams come up with individual mobile experiences, similar to any active startups. Mark Zuckerberg, on the announcement date, discussed the strategy of conquering mobile with plenty of single-purpose experiences, and not stuffing more functionality into the core app of Facebook. 5 Manufacturers that are yet to update to Android 4.4

The new Android 4.4 KitKat version has already made its presence felt on various devices like the Google Play Edition Line, Nexus Line, Moto G, the Droid line, Moto X and the HTC One Developers and unlocked version. Manufactures have already announced that they will update their devices to Android 4.4 KitKat. They say that it should be accomplished by the end of January.

LG has not spoken much about their OS update to Android 4.4. However, there were rumors that the LG G2 had updated to the latest version of the OS in November or December, 2013 but they were dismissed and plans of releasing it early this year are on.

It appeared as if, LG had updated the OS onto the LG G2 devices, in South Korea, in December. But the rumors were not true and in turned out so that they had just released a few for an impromptu soak test. Very few owners received the update, about five percent. Updates should be available soon, in a few weeks. In Canada, the updates should roll out by March, but there is now news on updates in the US of A.

HTC has proven to be extremely transparent as manufacturers in present times. It has kept its users updated on the Android 4.4; the devices include the HTC One Google Play Edition, the Unlocked Model and the Developers Edition. The company is also letting us in on the models that haven’t yet been updated. They have affirmed that all the US models of the HTC One should receive the update by the last part of January, 2014. Lately, the company has also released an infographic showing the process of the update. Also, the company is adding to the Android 4.4, its very own branded software. Android updates for Samsung are still not certain as the manufacturer has not revealed any of its plans. The only Samsung device that is currently running on the Android 4.4 version is the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. According to rumors, the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 are to update by the end of January. However, Samsung has not confirmed anything. Some rumors also say that the Note 3 has been running on the 4.4 version since November. Other devices that are supposedly being tested for updates are Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Ace 3, Galaxy Fresh Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy Core and Galaxy S Advance.

According to Motorola the devices that will receive updates on the Android 4.4 in 2014 are Motorola Atrix HD, Motorola Droid Razr M (Developer Edition), Motorola Electrify M, Motorola Droid Razr HD and Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD. The devices that have updated to 4.4 are DROID Ultra, Moto G, DROID MAXX, Moto X and DROID Mini.

Sony is going to update some of their devices like Xperia ZL, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Tablet Z. Some of their devices have already updated to the 4.3 Jelly Bean version and the next updated is on the cards.
